nool solidify

nool solidify signs the candidate knot, checks semantic concurrency, appends it to the local DAG, and updates the Git mirror.

  • Seal accepted proposals into the local semantic DAG.
  • Use compact output for agent handoffs.
  • Run doctor before release preparation.
nool solidify --fast --compact

What solidify does

Solidify signs the candidate knot, checks semantic concurrency, appends the accepted transition to the local DAG, and exports the Git-compatible mirror state. In a fresh repository, use this only after you have confirmed whether the candidate contains bootstrap files or real product work.

nool solidify --fast --compact

Use --fast for routine accepted work

Fast mode is the normal sealing path for scoped changes after tests have passed and the proposal output matches the intended scope.

  • Content updates and documentation expansion.
  • Small UI changes with local build validation.
  • Task state changes that do not affect runtime code.

Use --full for high-integrity transitions

Full mode spends more validation effort on changes where a bad seal would be expensive to unwind.

  • Release preparation.
  • Security, licensing, or billing policy changes.
  • Large multi-agent work where conflict reasoning is the point of the gate.
nool solidify --full --compact

After solidify

Run doctor before release work or push work. Doctor tells you whether the DAG is linear, whether a pending proposal remains, and whether the release marker lags behind the head.
